Loved listening to the podcasts, itunes and teacherTube but was unable to add to my blog..spent far too long trying to get past the 'contact support'..although I followed the steps re: installing the software and subscribing -Hmmmm!

Generally I've enjoyed my foray into expanding my computer skills- however- sooo much more time is required to truly explore and to take advantage of this information- TeacherTube is really easy and useful as is Audiobooks- There seems to be a large varied collection available.

Wiki is all well and good but not sure just how accurate it is.....rollyo seems like a useful tool for class and private use however it took forever to load and then finally the link between my custom health site and my blog would not load....time needs to be spent collating useful sites and then grouping them....

The mind boggles at the information out there! This again is a useful way to get information and has many applications. I wished I were more disciplined as i could spend my life just clicking on links.

The RSS Feeds allow you to stay totally up to date in the areas of interest you have subscribe to. I can see this being a useful and exciting way to structure lessons and also in your day to day choices. Setting up will take some time but after that it should be totally straight forward. I look forward to viewing mine regularly ( I hope!)

I love MySpace! If I were an artist I would definately be using MySpace..I found so many artists I really like in many different categories! Just terrific- I love the links it suggests. This is my favourite so far, I think..Facebook is pretty interesting- most young people I know communicate this way constantly, I set up an account (yep) to stay in touch with family and friends but some won't accept you as their friend...I hadn't considered that- what I did notice was that most entries on Facebook are pretty mundane, however it's great to view all the photos/albums friends are putting on Facebook. It's all very public though and when I thought I'd like to cancel my Facebook account I was unable to do it....I've got a link to Facebook if you want to join!

This is a wonderful bit of technology! The possibilities are endless- I really like this one and it has so many applications classroom, personal, global.....I love just seeing all the different artwork /covers over time.

The exploration of a virtual world has become a very popular past time and I've heard and read all sorts of comments regarding this - the concept appeals- but I'd need to really spend time and thought on this to make it something exciting and truly second lifey...maybe I don't have the imagination? What I've generally seen in my short visits is tedious glam/tv/fantasy predictability..hmm! the usual greed and stuff I'm not interested in.

How much fun is this? I could get hooked! I emailed an itube video to a couple of people - I feel I'd like to spend more time exploring this- but now that I know where, what and sorta how, I will do just that.

Enjoyed finding my way round the google docs, maps, books and other fun stuff! Tried a few things..lost a few things, in the process came across a comment from Fiona (thank you).....and emailed an attempt at a VERY basic presenation in google docs to her.

Well-here it is! On first reading of instructions I was a bit daunted, but honestly, the instructions, once you get going are ok..I'm feeling pretty good about this.
